Visiting this website

To deliver the website, your IP address and technical data sent by your browser are processed briefly on our server. We do not store access logs. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Hosting

This website is hosted by Akamai Technologies (Linode) in a data center in the European Union. The provider processes data on our behalf. Akamai is a company based in the United States; should data be accessed from outside the EU, this takes place on the basis of the safeguards required by the GDPR.

Contact form

When you use the form, we process your name, email address, company (optional), area of interest, your message and the page language.

We use this data to answer your request. The legal basis is the initiation of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Providing this data is voluntary, but we cannot answer without it.

Your message is stored on our server and deleted once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply. If we reply by email, our email provider also processes the correspondence. To prevent abuse, your IP address is held in working memory for up to 10 minutes and is not stored permanently.

Cookies and local storage

This website does not set cookies. If you switch the language, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so that it is available on your next visit. It stays on your device, is not sent to us, and you can delete it at any time through your browser settings.

Recipients and automated decisions

We do not sell your data and only pass it on where this is necessary for the purposes described here or where we are legally required to do so. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

Security

The connection to this website is encrypted using HTTPS. Messages from the contact form are stored on the server with access limited to administrators.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • rectification and erasure
  • restriction of processing
  • data portability
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Slovakia, this is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR).
